Chris Hudson is a Baltimore-born, Portland, Oregon-based comedian who has also performed at clubs in D.C. (Comedy Loft), Los Angeles (The Comedy Store), Philly & beyond accompanied by his current facial hair configuration. He’s been in HBO’s Veep (campaign staffer) & his jokes have been featured in The Washington Post, Playboy, Funny Or Die, Paste Magazine, HuffPost, Buzzfeed, & someecards.
He ran & hosted the popular monthly stand-up showcase Everything Will Be Okay at The Crown in Baltimore, which for over 6 years featured comics from all over, even as far as Germany and boasts past headliners he has opened for such as Shane Gillis, Stavros Halkias, Nick Mullen, Ariel Elias and more.
He currently hosts Leave Your Troubles at The Door, a completely improvised stand-up comedy showcase (created by him in 2019) where comedians riff jokes using audience problems anonymously submitted before the show, which happens every first Friday at Funhouse Lounge, every third Saturday at Integrity Beer Hall both in Portland, Oregon, and monthly at Capitol Hill Comedy / Bar in Seattle, Washington. Leave Your Troubles also travels to new locations and cities almost every month.
His podcast Coffee Sip is distributed internationally & has had past guests such as Kyle Kinane, Jackie Kashian & Chanel Ali. He also independently released his first stand-up comedy album entitled It’ll Probably Be Fine in 2019 which is available on Spotify, Tidal, Apple, Amazon, Google Play & Bandcamp.
